Marine Corps Veteran. Community Focused. Conservative.
Military Service
Shane joined the United States Marine Corps shortly after high school, training at Parris Island, South Carolina. He earned two meritorious promotions, qualified as a paratrooper at Fort Benning, Georgia, earning blood wings, and valued unity with Army and Marine brothers. His oldest son now serves in the United States Air Force, upholding the family legacy.

Community and Faith Leadership
Post-service, Shane served as Worship Leader and Elder at a San Jose church while running a music business teaching singing, guitar, and piano to children and adults. He nurtured creativity and faith in his community. Today, he works as an R&D Electrical Test Engineer for a medical device company, with prior roles at Zeltiq, Thoratec, St. Jude Medical, Abbott, and Procept-Biorobotics.

Family Life
For 28 years, San Jose has been home where Shane met his wife from Guatemala; they've shared over 23 years of marriage raising three children. Family gatherings feature his humorous broken Spanish and strong bonds, including his mother-in-law's favorite son-in-law joke. Through his wife, Shane gained deep appreciation for the Hispanic community's pride, hard work, resilience, faith, family values, and pursuit of the American Dream.

Commitment to America
Shane embodies service across generations, cherishing America's ideals of unity, sacrifice, and liberty. He stands ready to serve again, believing hardworking families thrive under God's grace and preserved freedoms. His story highlights courage, heritage pride, and hope amid challenges.
